The Salina Tea Party is a grass roots organization dedicated to  inform, encourage, equip and mobilize at the, grassroots level, to reclaim control of our government, local, state and federal. 

We propose to take back this control by peaceful means.  We DO NOT believe in the use of force, coercion, or bloodshed, but rather education, votes, and support of political candidates we find that have the intelligence, integrity, honesty and drive to represent us and our values.  

We believe that we are in danger of losing a government of the people, by the people and for the people, and that this government has become too large, too expensive and a bureaucracy that has overstepped its bounds.  And we feel that we Americans are loosing control of our lives, our liberty and the pursuit of happiness as guaranteed by our Declaration of Independence and Constitution. 

We believe the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. Bill of Rights are fundamental documents designed to guide us and our posterity.

We believe in the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God, for a civilized nation cannot survive without adherence to the Rule of Law.  While our Declaration of Independence states that “whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it”, we would prefer to alter it and bring it back to the original intent of our Founding Fathers.
